Founder - Glori Gonsalves
Beautiful, compassionate, ambitious and driven are just a few words that describe the powerhouse business woman that is Glori Gonsalves. She is definitely a #BossBabe you need to know. Glori is the founder and owner as Glorious Thoughts, LLC as well as www.2ofakindjewelry.com and www.2ofakindbridal.com.
Glori is no stranger to the jewelry and fashion industry, spending more than 15 years as a jewelry designer and fashion consultant. Her legacy begins in Cleveland, Ohio and continues across country to southern states such as Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia.
Glorious Thoughts, LLC was established in 2006 after the tragic loss of her grandfather and hero, Joaquin Gonsalves. This was a dark time for Glori. It was here that she found her love of inspirational quotes.
“I found myself reading quotes or having someone send me quotes that were inspirational and uplifting. I began reading these quotes every day. I would cut them out and hang them in different places so that when I thought of him it wouldn’t hurt so much,” she said. She began taping these quotes around her home on walls, bathroom mirrors, the refrigerator, anywhere that she had space. She began to notice that although she wanted to keep the quotes in view, they were not attractive being held with tape everywhere. With that a wonderful idea was born. Glori wanted something that would be a symbol of renewal and new beginning, something to inspire people to love one another. So, she designed the Diamondnique Butterfly Magnet. Each butterfly is uniquely designed to capture that special moment in life, be it one of joy or loss, Glori has something that will continue to give hope and lift your spirit.
Glori plays an integral part in the layout, management structure and creative process of Glorious Thoughts, LLC. Her businesses reflect her business savvy, entrepreneurship, love of people and wish to inspire. She has won several awards including being honored for outstanding leadership from companies such as Pacific Bell. She was also awarded the Project Liberty Award from Thompson Tax and Accounting.
Her newest endeavor is the creation of Butterflies, an organization for the education, development and growth of young girls. It is Glori’s dream to show young ladies that they can become anything they want to and instill in them the drive that will propel them into entrepreneurship in the future, along with love and compassion for others.
Glori Gonsalves resides in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her mother, Gianna Gonsalves, who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She continues to inspire us all with her symbol of beauty through pain, the butterfly.
